Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Gosport

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

My client is a leading supplier of UPS and Generator systems across the UK who are looking to bring a Service Engineer on board to bolster their team in Fareham. The ideal candidate will come from a Service & Maintenance background, will have experience with the UPS/IPS, will ideally have experience working in Healthcare environments and will be based within a commutable distance of Gosport.

Electrical Engineer Job Overview

• Servicing and repairs along with offering support and training to other staff
• communicating with customers, sub-contractors and staff on technical issues
• Make recommendations and advice for solutions to site issues as well as advising on required spare parts fitment
• Undertaking diagnosis, fault finding and rectification
• Liaise with specialist subcontractors to ensure SLA’s are achieved
• Travelling throughout the UK as required including nights away

Electrical Engineer Job Requirements

• HNC/HND/BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Multiple years industrial Electrical service and maintenance experience
• Additional background experience in Electrical/Electronic equipment specifically Power Electronics and UPS systems
• Computer Literate (All office associated programs such as, word, excel, outlook)
• Previous field service experience essential
• Excellent customer service skills
• Full UK Driving licence
• Base within a commutable distance of Gosport

Electrical Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Salary £35,000 – £40,000 dependent upon experience
• Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am - 4pm
• 33 days holiday including bank holiday
